For Jacob Batalon, wedding planning has turned out to be refreshingly simple.
The 29-year-old actor, best known for his easygoing charm on screen, recently shared that preparations for his upcoming wedding are nearly finished — and that most of the work has been handled by his fiancée, Veronica Leahov.
His role? As he put it with a smile: knowing when and where to show up.
A Proposal That Started It All
Batalon proposed to Leahov in March 2025 during a trip to New York City, later sharing photos of the moment on Instagram. Fans quickly noticed the square-cut engagement ring and the couple’s unmistakable excitement.
Since then, the two have kept many details private, but Batalon’s recent comments suggest the finish line is in sight — with Leahov confidently steering the process.
There’s no tension or hesitation in the way he talks about it. If anything, it sounds like trust.
Balancing Love and a Busy Career
Batalon shared the update while attending a New York screening of his upcoming action-comedy The Wrecking Crew, which also stars Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista. The film premieres on Prime Video on Jan. 28.
He described much of his performance as improvised — a style that suits his natural, laid-back energy.
And even with wedding plans unfolding behind the scenes, Batalon doesn’t seem to be slowing down. He’s also looking ahead to reuniting with Tom Holland and Zendaya in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

While he’s letting Leahov handle the logistics, Batalon hinted that he still has something personal planned — teasing a private Valentine’s Day surprise just for her.
